  7. The dapper Spanish-born violinist conducted with his bow and
  8. kept a shimmying singer at his side. Three of them, Carmen
  9. Castillo, Abbe Lane and Charo, were among his five wives.
  10. "Cugie" estimated he had spent $20 million, much of it in
  11. alimony, but insisted his exes had remained "pals."
